- ➤ After over a year of closure, the Joe Foss Shooting Complex reopened on August 16th in Buckeye Hills Regional Park—where local law enforcement and the public use the range—and now offers 40 lanes with $7 day passes and extended hours Friday through Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The city plans to add programs for archery and firearms training in the near future. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Buckeye PD received a $20,000 grant from the DUI Abatement Council — partnered with the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety — to fund DUI enforcement and overtime through Spring 2026. The grant will help reduce impaired driving and improve traffic safety in Buckeye. West Valley View
