- ➤ Buckeye police said a man in his 50s was seriously hurt when he was run over by a teen's car near Miller and Baseline roads Monday night—this happened after he reportedly arrived at his ex-girlfriend's house, violated an active protection order, and shot at the teen. ABC 15

- ➤ The Liberty Elementary School District Board in Buckeye is led by President Michael Todd and Vice President Kris Kenyon—along with board members Bryan Cirrincione, Sarah Schmidt and Kellie Zimmerman—and oversees seven schools including Blue Horizons, Estrella Mountain, Freedom, Las Brisas, Liberty, Rainbow Valley and Westar.
