- ➤ Today, Buckeye City Council established the Citizen Water and Wastewater Rate Committee to advise on new rate proposals after more than 10 years without an update. The committee will include up to 13 residents and business leaders, with nominations reviewed on July 1, and will propose a five-year rate adjustment plan before new rates take effect in January 2026 — ensuring funds for essential water service improvements.
